<span class="font-brand">TORRID PETRIC</span> gives any group a proper ballot: companies passing a resolution at a general assembly, boards and committees, parliaments and public bodies, associations, social groups and campus elections. Set the rules once, send everyone a private link or a QR code, and watch the count build in real time.

What can be decided
A ballot is not only about filling a seat. The same run can elect people, settle a resolution and poll the room, with each item judged by its own rule.
Chairpersons, directors, committee seats, prefects. Winner by plurality, outright majority or a two-round run-off, with several seats filled in one ballot.
Motions put to the room, with the pass threshold and quorum you set. The result reports plainly as passed, failed or awaiting quorum.
Polls with as many options as you need, one pick or several per voter, and the winning option reported without ambiguity.
A full general assembly or general election: posts, motions and polls on a single ballot, each item carrying its own choices and its own rules.
Who is voting
Pick the setting that matches you — the register, the rules and the notice are the same engine underneath.
Resolutions, director elections, auditor appointments and shareholding matters that need a documented count.
E.g. “Adopt the 2026 audited accounts”
Board resolutions, sub-committee mandates and chair elections where every member must be on record.
E.g. “Approve the capital expenditure request”
Division votes, motions and committee ballots with weighted or constituency-based voting.
E.g. “Ayes, nays and abstentions on the bill”
Prefects, student councils, staff associations and faculty boards — or a full institutional election.
E.g. “Chairperson, General Secretary, Treasurer”
Member votes on bylaws, dividend policy and leadership, with one vote per member enforced.
E.g. “Elect three committee members”
Quick decisions in a community group without the noise of informal polling.
E.g. “Pick the venue for the annual dinner”
Leadership selection and welfare fund decisions where members may not have email addresses.
E.g. “Elect the welfare committee”
Strike ballots and panel decisions that must survive challenge, with a tamper-evident audit trail.
E.g. “Yes or no to the proposed settlement”
Anywhere people have to decide something together and the count has to be defensible.
E.g. “Whatever your group is deciding next”
How it works
Name your group and the decision to be taken. No accounting account, no setup call — you are inside the console in a minute.
Type rows into the table or upload your existing register. Add posts, candidates, motions or options. The assistant can draft the whole ballot from a written description.
Choose the winner rule, quorum, thresholds and the voting window, then send private links by email and circulate the QR code for members without email.
Live turnout and results as they land. Close the vote to freeze it, see which resolutions passed, and issue an audit report for your records.
What you get
Set it up yourself in an afternoon, or hand the setup to the assistant and correct what it produces. Nothing here requires technical knowledge, and every figure you set is visible to your voters before they vote.
An expandable table for voters, posts and candidates. Add as many rows as you need and rename any column — member number, department, branch, weight — whatever your group actually uses.
Already have the register in Excel or CSV? Upload it once. Columns are matched automatically and anything unclear is shown to you before it is saved.
Describe the vote in plain words — "board of nine, one chair, two motions, majority to pass" — and the assistant drafts the ballot, the rules and the notice, ready for you to correct.
Every registered voter gets their own single-use link by email. One click, no password to forget, and the link stops working the moment they have voted.
Print or project one QR code for the room. A voter scans it, enters their name and the one-time code you gave them, and votes on their own phone. Built for members without email.
A voter cannot vote twice, whether they arrive by email link or by QR code. Duplicate entrants are rejected, and the register shows who is still outstanding.
Selections are stored without any link back to the voter. Turnout is public; how a particular person voted is not — not to the organizer, not to anyone.
The count refreshes continuously so a room can project it on a screen. Choose to show it live for engagement, or hold it back until you close and reveal once.
Set the voting window in advance. Voting opens and closes to the minute, so a general assembly, a lunchtime poll or a two-week election all run themselves.
Winner by majority, plurality or a two-round run-off. Weighted votes per member. Quorum required. Maximum picks per post. Abstain allowed. Write-ins allowed.
A resolution only passes if it clears the threshold you set — two-thirds, a simple majority, or a quorum of the eligible register. The result says plainly whether it passed.
Each ballot is sealed with its own hash and timestamp. Close the vote and issue an audit report recording turnout, results and the integrity checks that ran.
Charges
A single general assembly, a board resolution or a one-off poll is a one-off charge. A register that votes every term is better on a subscription.

Questions
Yes. Print or project one QR code for the venue. A voter scans it with their phone, enters their name and the one-time code you issued to them, and votes. The same one-vote-per-person rule applies as for email links, and a code cannot be reused.
Bring your register, or type it in from scratch. Send links, print one QR code, and let the count build itself while the meeting is still running.
